President Eisenhower, a military man who should know what he's talking about when it comes to the military, warned us to beware of the power of the military/industrial district (aka oil men). We didn't heed his warning and now look at the mess we're in, all because of oil.
Oil is necessary to fuel the engines that wage war, war is profit and what could be better than to profit from the very oil your company sells for military use, particularly if the same oil men are allowed to wage constant war against weak oil-rich third world countries so they can sell more oil to fuel the engines of war and, best of all, profit from the corporations they own that build the military bases and manufacture the engines of war? Add to that incredibly mounting profit the profit from the 30 TRILLION dollars worth of oil in the Caspian Sea that Unocal is now, at this very moment, busily constructing a pipeline in Afghanistan to transport over Afghanistan which is the most cost-effective route to transport it. By the way, Karzai was employed by Unocal right up to 9/11 to help Unocal in its negotiations with the Taliban for permission to construct the pipeline.
Now, how about this: Enron was planning on this pipeline to be completed in time to supply them with an energy source to fire up its immense facility in India, but 9/11 held that up. Now, I've been told that JFK warned about an evil, complicated plan and a shadow government that horrified him in its plan to wreak havoc on our country. He said he planned to prevent this from happening. He died three days later. Think, people. Think for yourselves. Research, read up, use the Internet to read foreign newspapers. Block out everything you have been told, clear your mind before you begin to do your research.
I found it helped to pretend I was researching for a term paper. When you feel that you've completed your term paper, then make your own informed opinion as to what is actually happening in your government and don't let anything other than your own future research sway your opinons. It began as a chore to me, but it soon became a fascinating part of my day to get on the Internet and go to work. I'm very worried about what's happening to our country, but at least I have tried as hard as I could to make my own informed decision and that's a bit of a relief. At last I've done all I can to help protect the future of my children and grandchildren. They're going to be around a long time after I hit the dust to suffer the consequences of government run amok. Best wish, all y'all.
